Is Disney’s Contemporary Resort the best Magic Kingdom Disney Resort for older adults and seniors? Our review may surprise you. It has for many of those who have seen it.
This resort includes Disney Vacation Club’s Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Both are right next to Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park. It is a mere 10 minute or less walk to or from the theme park.
And they have their own monorail stop. Disney’s Contemporary Resort has the iconic monorail stop inside its main building. It has had this right from the get go, when Disney’s Magic Kingdom opened.
The view of the monorail entering or leaving the building brings a smile to most every guest’s face who sees it.
So, why do we recommend that seniors, retirees and baby boomers consider staying a different Magic Kingdom Disney Deluxe resort?
It is because what seniors typically want from a vacation. Older adults and seniors typically want a relaxing, tranquil and memorable vacation. Sure, Disney’s Contemporary Resort is known as one of the Monorail Resorts at Walt Disney World. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are the other two. Both also have Disney Vacation Club units as a portion of their resort.
