Disney’s Vero Beach resort in Vero Beach, Florida is a hidden gem.
For decades of visiting Walt Disney World, Nancy and I never gave a second thought about leaving the Disney bubble and driving out to the east coast other than on a day trip.
Yet, when opportunity came, we broke free from our habit and did just that.
What we discovered is that Disney’s Vero Beach resort is a tranquil, immersive experience that we think is perfect for older adults and seniors, not just for young families with children.
Any Vacation Starts With The Room
For us, it starts with the room. Nancy and I were surprised how large and spacious this room was. To us it is larger than most, if not all, Disney Vacation Club studios. You will see that in this room tour.
This Disney room tour is of the Ocean View Inn room at Disney’s Vero beach resort. It is in the same building as:
- the main lobby,
- the Green Room lounge,
- the main restaurant (which is wonderful by the way),
- arts and crafts
It is steps from the family pool. And, of course, it is right on the beach. We actually show you from the room’s balcony our view of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Even on a windy day the view was veryh nice. We appreciated having the Ocean View vs the standard view room during our short stay.
We wished we had stayed longer. In fact, we just adjusted a future Walt Disney World vacation to stay longer at this beautify resort.
